The box score is like the Table of Mendeleev

Teamwork, defense and interactions are most difficult to capture in the Box Score statistics.
The Box Score is like the Table of Mendeleev. New unmentioned tactical techniques or fundamentals (like the unknown elements) are for individual players very difficult to capture.

We have to fill up the incomplete puzzle with the right pieces in the Table of the Box Score. The relative team impact of the interactions between the five players has to be discovered, respected, explained and evaluated.

The Box Score has not yet produced a complete basketball weight formula. Indeed, there is no linear basketball formulated theory yet, that correctly covers the (in)complete basket in the Table of the Box Score of the tactical and other techniques a player is displaying on the court.
